A man saw what he thought was a crashing plane, then he observed that it was an oval craft. This craft had white, red, and green lights on it. The craft flew over him, circled , and then came down with a pendulum type motion, and appeared to land on route 114.
At midnight two men driving along that route saw a beam sweep the road, stopped and saw the object in a field. It was a disk with white and green light and three red lights. The two reports were independent.(Source ufobible.com)

At 7:15 p.m. EST. Several witnesses reported an oval object with blue glow, reddish-green flashing lights on each end. The object hovered, and sped back and forth several times. (http://www.nicap.org)

At 12:10AM a Man, his friend and his mother were watching a hockey game (Boston Bruins versus the Montreal Canadians). . His friend was leaving and they also noticed interference on the TV. They went outside and at once saw a huge dark gray disk shaped craft hovering right over their house. The witness felt threatened by this sight. The object was all “lit up” with white lights. The object had archways and strange lettering. The object hovered for about 15 minutes before tilting, ascending and then moving away horizontally. The witness’s mother also saw the object. He reported the object the next day to a local radio station. The witness also noticed a haze around the object. Skies were clear on the night of the sighting. (Source www.ufosnw.com)

On the afternoon of August 6, 2010, I was on a lounge chair in my backyard on the north side of the swimming pool. It was 2:40 pm on a sunny day with a mostly blue sky dotted with a few puffy clouds. I was facing east and was in the shade cast by the tall bamboo behind me. Although there was no change in the light, I had a random thought that dark thunderclouds might be coming in from the west and looked up at the sky. A few seconds later I saw a silver disk traveling from west to east, in a straight line over my pool almost directly overhead.
At first glance I thought it was some kid's silver balloon that got loose but quickly realized it was no floppy, tinfoil balloon, but some kind of solid, firm-surfaced metal. I focused in on it so I could remember as much detail as possible. It was shaped like a disk but also had a squashed circle/egg type shape. The top and bottom were rounded and the sides were slightly rounded, like the shape of a Mento candy. There were no hard edges or seams, no puckers or variations of color or texture in the surface. It was totally smooth and reflective, the bottom of it turning darker as it passed over the green trees at the eastern end of the yard. I'm estimating that it was about 30 feet above the fully mature maple trees, so maybe 60 feet above ground. I got the impression that it might be 3 to 4 feet in diameter. Although it was breezy at the treetops, the disk moved in a straight line, with no side to side wavering or drifting from the wind, and no change in altitude. There was absolutely no sound emitting from it.
After the disk had been in my sight for about 5 seconds I had the presence of mind to call out, "Look up!" to my husband, who was doing some yard work about 20 feet behind me and to the right. Since he was to the right of the edge of the bamboo stand he had a clear view of the disk and looked up in time to see it just as it was going over the trees. His description of the disk corroborated mine. From the time I saw the disk to the time it traveled out of sight was about 8 to 10 seconds and I estimate that the distance it travelled in that time was about 50 to 60 feet. Using these estimates, the disk was traveling at about 3 to 5 miles per hour. Unfortunately there was no time to take a picture, even with my cell phone.(Source NUFORC.org)

I work the night shift and I get out around 11:30. I stopped by a Wendys in Peabody to get some dinner and as I headed towards home, I saw a green glowing orb in the sky. It seemed reasonably close...possibly tree level. It was solid and no signs of movement. I wouldn't describe it as a craft upon first glance but the way it acted didn't seem as if it were naturally occurring. A few seconds after I saw it, the object seemed to have bolted full speed towards the sky. It was there one second and gone the next. I originally thought it could possibly be a meteorite or a shooting star as I have never had the pleasure to see any event in the sky before, however the more I thought about it, the more I thought had it been one of the two as an explanation, I would imagine the light would descend rather than ascend rapidly like it did.
