BRIGHTON
Fall 1976
I came out of the supermarket at around 7:30pm with my grocery bag. I stopped in the parking lot considering taking a cab because it was chilly and I didn't want to wait out in the cold for the trolley. something made me look up and there was a chevron shaped craft with a green, red and yellow light on both wings. It hovered completely silently and still. It would move and then stop on a dime. I didn't know what to do so I took the next trolley heading up commonwealth avenue. I looked out the window and there it was. I got off the trolley and went into the laundromat next to my apartment building and told the people inside to come outside to see if they could see what I was seeing. Thankfully they saw it too, about 8 other people. That proved to me that I wasn't losing my mind. I called the Boston police department to find out of there were any other sightings of this craft. They told me it was probably advertising for Martignetti's liquor store. The tone of their voices was "Let's get this crazy woman off the phone." It didn't matter to them enough to take me seriously.
