Immigration Inspector Hoe, of Boston, had reported having seen, at one o'clock in the morning of December 20, "a bright light passing over the harbor" and had concluded that he had seen an airship of some kind. (Source Charles Fort New Lands)

USAF pilot Kirschbaum was flying a T-6 20 miles South West of Boston Ma when he spotted a white tubular 100 ft. long object. This objest was flying at 100 mph. The pilot gave chase to the object but was unable to close and lost the object. (Source PROJECT BLUE BOOK Case 231)

Watch Supervisor Connelly and 3 other CAA controllers saw a deep blue ellipsoid object in the West at 15 degree elevation moving South West to North East opposite the winds. The object changed to a lighter blue and then split into 2 separate blue lights which each revolved around each other then separated. The lights then changed color to white and then changed to a cherry red color and increased to a 45 degree elevation. They continued on there track and disappeared from sight in the North East direction.(Source PROJECT BLUE BOOK )

TWA Capt. Charles Kratovil, co-pilot W.R. Davis and flight engineer Harold Raney were over the Boston area on a Paris-New York TWA Constellation heading South West at 9:30am. They spotted " a large, white colored disc like object" overhead, which they occasionally would lose sight of as it moved behind overlying clouds. Flying into West South West headwinds at 200 mph, they concluded it could not be a balloon, and radioed Boston's Logan Airport control tower,. The control tower said that jets were scrambled and then they saw the object at about 10,000 ft higher than their flying altitude of 10,00o ft, but could not get closer to it.(Source PROJECT BLUE BOOK Case 931)

It was 21 October 1957 (about 17:00 to 17:30) and I was walking from class to my dorm (Baker House) at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) when I saw a large group (20 or 30) MIT students standing next to the Kresge Auditorium staring mesmerized at the western sky. I stopped to ask what they were staring at and one pointed at an object which to me looked like a long vapor trail. The sky was clear except for some clouds in the western horizon which were slightly reddish as it was near sunset. I mentioned to others that it could be a vapor trail from a jet plane but I was told that this was not possible as the object changed directions very rapidly and it was clearly solid. In effect, as I stared at the object it suddenly flipped 90 degrees and it started to slowly move in our direction. It was difficult to judge the distance of the object since we could not tell its size but if it was 200-300 meters in length then it may have been over Brookline Ma or perhaps further west at an altitude of 30 to 40 degrees above the horizon. As we stared mesmerized over a period of 5-10 or minutes the object suddenly again flipped 90 degrees at such a speed that the eye could not follow the movement and it started to move more rapidly towards the north. The object was now closer to us but while it was still impossible to judge its distance (perhaps over Harvard University?), one could clearly discern that the pencil-shaped object was indeed solid and metallic looking with a slight golden tinge. The object disappeared behind some tall buildings in the Cambridge area. Suddenly to the south two USAF single engine propeller planes appeared in close formation obviously to us in pursuit of the object which was no longer visible. To my knowledge we did not report our observations but there were reports from other witnesses in the Boston area as reported by the Boston Daily Globe newspaper on 22 October 1957. Unfortunately, the observers quoted all appeared to confuse the object with the discarded Sputnik rocket, which was clearly impossible to have seen in space (the launching had been earlier that month). I saw something in the sky this night around 8:30pm, that I had never seen before.
It was dusk and closer to a darker sky. I was lounging on my porch, facing the northwestern sky.
Out of nowhere, an object I would say perhaps two to three hundred yards long appeared close to Logan Airport in Boston. As far as i could determine, it more or less, just hovered, for the whole time i observed it which was around 5 to 10 minutes. I could clearly see the lights on the runway at the airport. It was not a plane, i'm sure of that.
Like i said, it was saucer shaped, and in the lighting conditions at this time, it appeared kind of silvery or metallic.
After so many minutes, it shoot straight up at a speed that was incredible.(Source NUFORC.org)

It was 8:30pm and I saw a saucer shaped object with 3 different color lights. The light in the center of the saucer was red and then outside that light was a section of green lights and finally on the outside of the saucer it was a bright white light. It stayed still for like 5 mins. and then moved slowly, then super fast and disappeared. All the lights dimmed and poof gone. Completely disappeared and haven't seen it since then.(Source NUFORC.org)

I was outside at 3:30AM smoking holding my cat, looked up, there was a round object in the sky. Blue lights on the bottom and the lights appeared to be rotating. A white light emanated from the craft in a spray around the object. It was just hovering above Copley Square in Boston MA. It stayed there long enough for me to go outside again and take a photo, though it was too distant and too dark for my camera to catch. All it looks like on the photo is a pulsing star but this was no star and no stars have circulating blue lights on the outside on the bottom that go in sequence. Clearly this was some other kind of craft. One if many I have seen this summer in Boston MA. Though the others were spheres and multicolored. (Source NUFORC.org)
